What do traditional banks, digital only banks and fintech / disrupter banks all have in common?

It’s shockingly easy.

Customers. They all require customers.

I had a fascinating chat last night that reminded me that despite the flash and dash of the fintech / banking space there is still a real fight in this category to drive new customers and users.

Right now the traditional banks are losing deposits, payment volumes and consumer dependence to the others.

But someday the challengers will also have the same problem. And may already.

Fascinating space to be watching.
